Hello!
Have you started reading Number the Stars yet? I haven't read it for a couple of years, so it is new to me again, too. I am noticing lots of words that I don't know. I want you to find 2 words you don't know from chapters 1 and 2. Look online and try to find out what they mean. Go to askforkids.com and see if you can find the answers. Let me know what you find out.

Hello! One word I did not know was Osterbrogade.(it has a line through the letter o.)Another word I did not know was Halte. I found out that Halte meant stop in Greman.But, I did not find out what Osterbrogade meant.bye!
Hey Mrs.Thomas one of the words I did not know what osterbrogade. I didn't find anything on this word and I have no idea on what it mite mean ethier. The other word is Copenhagen. It is a type of brand of tobacco. That is all for know!Bye.

I have started reading number the stars 1 word that I didn't know was Copenhagen which actually means a city in Denmark. Another one is Halte which in german means stop that's all bye for now.

Hi! I didn't have any words I didn't understand; I Guessed that Osterbrogade was a city name and that Copwnhagen was somewhat like a state, but what Brittany found out i guess i was wrong!
Yes I have started to read it I think that it is very good some words and letters that I do not under stand are why dos the O in Osterbrogade crossed out. I though that it is just a name in a diffrent country and another word is sulking I am thinking that it just means to cry.
